I ended up finding it a lot easier to have the database stored on the host, disabling redis and using a bind mount for the file storage so I could be assured that I'd always get a reliable state when the container got restarted/removed/etc. Following the terrific howto of 'install ownCloud with SSL and Nginx in CentOS 6.5', Id really be thankful if you can point me to a way of changing the storage location, since the default is in the /var/Many thanks, Eran. But since my raspberry pi hasn't much space, I wanted to move the data directory on an external drive. This example uses the default directory for Apache site files: sudo mv owncloud /var/www/html/ Change the ownership of the owncloud directory: sudo chown -R www-data: /var. Move the new directory to the Apache document root. Is there any way to change the swap file system ext4 to swap after that i have installed the ubuntu server 17.04. Owncloud 5.0.9 is installed on my raspberry pi and is working flawlessly. Unzip the downloaded file: unzip owncloud-10.5.0.zip When you unzip the file, a new directory named owncloud is created. ![]() It seemed to work only for the first container run and then on subsequent runs I was getting errors suggesting that the database couldn't start. I have install ubuntu server 17.04 in my 500GB HDD and the folowing partition scheme 60 GB for Root/ 28 GB for /boot 400 GB for /home 12 GB for /swap but swap partition did not correctly cause i made the filesystem ext4 for swap. Editing the OwnCloud docker-compose.yml file to add a bind mount point didn't work for me at all.
